Ernest Airlines, an Italian low-cost airline plans to open its representative office in Kyiv and intends to deploy two aircraft in the capital in 2020.
This was reported by the press service of the Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany):
“This summer, Ernest Airlines will celebrate the opening of its representative office in Kyiv city center. It will include a special reference service and a ticket office,” the message says.
The airline has already invested more than EUR 30 million in the Ukrainian market over the past 2 years, and will invest more than EUR100 million in the next two years.
It is reported that the Ernest Airlines transported more than 200,000 Ukrainian passengers in 2018, and the number of passengers from Italy to Ukraine and back will exceed 500,000 persons in 2019.
It is known that the Ernest Airlines passengers are allowed to carry up three pieces of baggage (3 PC) – 15, 20 or 25 kg, from EUR 8 for each.
