Estonia sent to Ukraine 2,400 Makarov pistols to strengthen the country’s self-defence potential. The Estonian Ministry of Defense says that weapons will be delivered at the request of Ukraine at the expense of Estonia.

The Estonian Ministry of Defense stated that they consistently and firmly support Ukraine, and that “Russia’s ongoing aggression in Crimea and eastern Ukraine is unacceptable and has a wider impact on the security of all of Europe.”

In addition to arms supplies, Estonia participates in the training of Ukrainian special forces and shares its experience in the field of territorial defense and cybersecurity.
