Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas announced the Estonian government resignation, ERR reports.
“The Prime Minister [of Estonia – ed.] Jüri Ratas at the first meeting of the 14th session of Estonian Parliament announced the government resignation,” the statement said.
According to current legislation, the Estonian government will continue its activities until a new cabinet of ministers takes office.
Recall, the government of Jüri Ratas took office on November 23, 2016 and was in power for 863 days. It worked on the basis of a coalition agreement concluded by the Center Party, Isamaa and the SDP.
As The Journalist reported, Estonia had become the first EU member country, which implements free long-distance transportation.
