Federal Judge delays Manafort trial

The trial on Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman and adviser to former Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych, was due to start on July 25 in a Federal Court in the city of Alexandria, Virginia, but the Judge has postponed the trial on July 31. This is reported by the Associated Press.
It is reported that the District Court in the US decided to postpone the hearing on July 31, due to the numerous data and documents that need to be examined by lawyers of Paul Manafort.
It is noted that, in addition to Virginia, Paul Manafort is also on trial in Washington on accusation of of failing to register as a foreign agent and his work for pro-Russian Ukrainian politician Viktor Yanukovych’s Party of Regions. Paul Manafort denies all charges.
As The Journalist reported earlier, Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, held in the prison Northern Neck Regional Jail in the city of Warsaw, Virginia, which is about 90 miles from Washington.
