Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko has signed the charter of the Ukrainian Financial Housing Company, which will ensure the operation of the mortgage lending market. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance:
“The Ukrainian Financial Housing Company was established to develop and implement an affordable mortgage mechanism, in particular, the possibility of lending up to 7% per annum for up to 20 years with the involvement of banks.”
Vasyl Shkurakov was appointed general director of the newly created housing company. Since 2018, he has worked as Deputy Minister of Finance and was responsible for local borrowing, guarantees and fiscal risks.
