Ukrainian Finance Ministry’s delegation begins its work at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Annual Meeting and Business Forum, which is held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the press center of the Ministry of Finance reports.
The main theme of the meeting is the globalization of economy for stronger growth. Oksana Markarova, Minister of Finance of Ukraine, should hold a series of meetings with international partners, including the leadership of the European Commission, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, and the US Department of the Treasury.
Recall the EBRD meetings are held annually to discuss investment opportunities. As a rule, the event attracts government officials from various countries, leading leaders of financial institutions, entrepreneurs of various levels, and representatives of public organizations.
As The Journalist reported, the government will allocate Ukrainian scientists UAH 262 million for researches in 2019.
