Finland’s national airline Finnair has canceled 276 flights due to solidarity strike in support of Posti state postal workers. It is reported by Reuters.

Finnair said around 20,000 passengers would be affected by flights cancellation.

“Our current estimates is that we could operate about 120 of the 377 flights scheduled for tomorrow [Monday – ed.],” a Finnair spokeswoman said.

The Chairman of the Finnish Aviation Union, Juhani Haapasaari, emphasized that the strike will affect air traffic ground services, including flight catering, maintenance, cargo transportation, security and, therefore, all airlines flying to and from Finland.

As The Journalist reported, Ukrposhta suspends air deliveries to Finland for two weeks over Posti strike.
