The day before, on June 18, in Odesa, a fire occurred in the territory of the Biopark private zoo, as reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa oblast.
It has been established that the roof of a one-story non-residential building caught fire on the area of 50 sq. m
As a result of fire no one was injured. There is no information on victims among the animals.
At the same time, according to eyewitnesses, a burning hippo aviary is currently under repair. According to the preliminary data, there were no animals inside. Next to the hippo aviary is a monkey cage; according to an eyewitness, the fire did not spread to it.
As reported by The Journalist, there was a large-scale fire in a 5-storey residential building on the Left Bank in Kyiv.
