Firefly Aerospace, a rocket and spacecraft developer, has signed a launch services agreement with Adaptive Launch Solutions (ALS), an equipment and avionics developer. The companies are planning four Alpha launches starting in 2021, reported by ITC.UA.
The private aerospace company Firefly Aerospace (owned by Ukrainian; its head office located in Dnipro, Ukraine) and ALS, which provides services for the integration of small spacecraft, signed a multi-year contract, which provides for four launches of the light reusable Firefly Alpha launch vehicle.
Firefly noted that the agreement will allow the company to expand its range of launch services, as well as leverage ALS expertise and equipment to “integrate primary and secondary payloads for future Alpha launches.”
Firefly prepares for the Alpha launch vehicle’s debut flight in early 2021.
