Former Ukrainian MP Dmytro Kriuchkov detained at Boryspil airport

Detectives of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) detained the former people’s deputy of Ukraine and former Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Energomerezhi” Dmytro Kriuchkov at the airport “Boryspil”.

According to NABU, the suspect in causing damage to the state budget worth over UAH 346 million, has been extradited from Germany.

“Within 48 hours from the moment of detention, the court should choose a preventive measure. NABU detectives, in consultation with the prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), will insist on remanding the suspect in custody with a bail of UAH 346.22 million,” the message says.

As The Journalist reported, NABU conducts searches in State Judicial Administration of Ukraine.
