Arthur Gerasimov, leader of the faction "Bloc Petro Poroshenko", said his faction is ready to withdraw one of their candidates to the Central Election Commission (CEC).
According to Gerasimov, in the issue of renewal of the CEC, they heard the warnings about the number of candidates to the CEC in the president’s presentation, UNIAN news agency reports.
«The BPP faction is ready to withdraw one of its candidates in order to resolve this issue», – Mr Gerasimov said.
Gerasimov also said, answering question on whom his faction is ready to withdraw, that «they will gather a meeting of the faction and take a decision just after the leaders of all factions will be ready to vote (after 12.00 p.m. meeting with the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy)».
As «The Journalist» reported, the Verkhovna Rada still continue to vote for the renewal of the CEC.
