«Samopomich» faction in Kyiv City Council officially ceased to exist

«Samopomich» faction at the meeting of the Kyiv City Council has officially declared self-dissolution on September, 11.

The corresponding faction statement was published by the Deputy of the Kyiv mayor, the secretary of the Kyiv City Council Volodymyr Prokopiv.

According to him, from this moment, i.e. after the announcement of the statement in the session hall, the decision of the faction takes effect.

Note that the «Samopomich» faction at its meeting in the Kyiv City Council on September 10 decided on self-dissolution. As the chairman of the faction, Serhiy Husovsky, stated 18 of 22 faction members have backed the relevant decision because of disagreement with the decisions of the party leadership.

As The Journalist reported, the press service of the Samopomich political party reported on September 6, that the party’s executive committee decided to exclude the deputies of the city council Husovsky, Oleksii Rudenko, Serhiy Kharchuk and Vadim Vasilchuk from the ranks of the party because of corruption scandals.
