On June 2, France will implement the second stage of the national quarantine exit strategy caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced on Thursday, May 28, by Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, Ukrinform reports.
France will lift all domestic travel restrictions from June 2.
The regions with a “green” level of epidemiological risk, bars and restaurants will resume their work (now only the Paris region and surrounding areas remain the “orange” zone: visitors allowed on the terraces only there). Wearing protective masks will remain mandatory in public transport.
At the same time, the question of holding mass sports competitions and other meetings will be considered after June 22. Restrictions on crossing the internal borders between France and neighboring countries will be valid until June 15.
