Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oksana Syroid stated that today, July 9, Russian special services detained seven merchant ships in the Sea of Azov that were coming from or to Mariupol or Berdiansk.
Oksana Syroid said this during the meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
«Russian special services detained seven merchant ships in the Sea of Azov today, and four more a few days earlier», – the Deputy Speaker said.
According to Syroid, this threat was «predicted», but «no one worked with it».

As «The Journalist» reported, the US flagship has entered the Black Sea.
