German government is investing EUR 500 million in improving ventilation systems in public buildings to help stop the spread of the coronavirus, Evropeyskaya Pravda reports, citing the BBC.

The funds will go towards improving air circulation in government offices, museums, theaters, universities and schools.

Each upgrade will cost no more than EUR 100,000. Funding is also allocated for CO2 sensors, which indicate when the air in a room becomes stale.
