Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk said that the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany proposed a new initiative to revitalize the peace process in the occupied Donbas.
“At the hearings in the Bundestag, initiated by the faction of free democrats, has been supported the new initiative of the German liberals to revitalize the peace process in the occupied eastern Ukraine: we are waiting for discussion in the committee and plenum,” Melnyk said.
As The Journalist reported, a petition appeared on the website of the German parliament recognizing the Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
