Germany will invest in renovation of rural medicine in Ukraine

On May 20, in Kyiv, Mr. Kurt Strasser, Regional Director of KfW Development Bank, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva, and Executive Director of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund Andriy Laktionov signed a financial and project agreement, according to which the Federal Republic of Germany will provide material assistance for rural medicine in Ukraine in May 2019,  Uryadovy portal reports.

The aim of the project is to support a comprehensive and ambitious medical reform, which began in Ukraine in 2017 and provides, among other things, for reforming and improving the functioning of primary medicine institutions.

To implement these tasks, the Government of Germany allocated grants in the total amount of EUR 14.45 million through the German State Development Bank KfW.

We will note that the project will concern the settlements which are in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Luhansk areas.

As The Journalist reported, Germany could send marines to the area of ​​the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
