Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany once again called on the Ukrainian authorities to close «Myrotvorets» website, in the list of which the name of the former Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schroeder appeared recently.
The spokesman for the German Foreign Ministry said this on November 14, Deutsche Welle reports.
«We condemn this list. We have already clearly explained our position to the Ukrainian side and called for the Ukrainian government to take measures to close this site», the spokeswoman said.
It is noted that in Kyiv cannot close the site, because it is hosted on a foreign server.
On the website «Myrotvorets» Schroeder is reproached for «an attempt to legalize the seizure of the Ukrainian Crimea by the Russian invaders and to justify the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine».
As reported by «Journalist», the base of «Myrotvorets» was filled up by the ex-chancellor of Germany.
The ex-chancellor made the list after being interviewed by Aachener Nachrichten, he suggested that the annexation of the Crimea would have to be recognized.
