President of the United States Donald Trump revokes his ardent critic, former CIA director John Brennan, of access to classified information. This is reportedby the BBC.
According to Trump, Brennan’s behavior is called «erratic».

«As the head of the executive branch and the commander in chief, I, accordingly to the constitution, have a responsibility to protect the nation’s classified information, including by controlling access to it. I’ve decided to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Historically, former heads of intelligence and law enforcement agencies have been allowed to retain access to classified information after their government service as a sign of professional respect for their services, and also so that they can consult with their successors regarding issues for which they may have special insights. None of the above is a reason to save Brennan his access to classified information,» – Trump said.

In addition, the US president is reviewing the possibility of denying access to classified information for other former governmental servants (in particular, ex-head of the FBI James Comey, former director of national intelligence James Clapper, ex-head of the National Security Agency Michael Hayden and former attorney general Sally Yates).
As The Journalist reported earlier, Trump signed the US defense law for 2019. Ukraine will be allocated with USD 250 million.
