The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, has met with Pope Francis in the Vatican, the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated.

In August 8, the Book of Goodness, which was prepared by more than 300 thousand children and adults from all corners of Ukraine, has began its journey around the world from the Vatican.

The Book of Goodness, which is made by hand with cotton and herbs, collected in the regions from where stories of goodness have come, presents 50 real stories about goodness and 50 drawings reflecting the child’s vision of humanity, sincerity and sympathy in everyday life.

«This international social project, which is designed to inspire the accomplishments and good undertakings around the world, is supported by Foreign Minister Klimkin, who, together with a group of Ukrainian children, met with Pope Francis during the General Audience at the Vatican to receive his blessing and also to thank the Pontiff for the humanitarian initiative «The Pope for Ukraine», prayers for peace in our country and to give him an exclusive copy of the book,» – the message says.
