EU Foreign Ministers will discuss situation in Venezuela

An informal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the European Union (EU) countries over the situation in Venezuela will be held on January 31 in the capital of Romania, Anadolu reported.
The official representative of the EU Foreign Service Maya Kosyancic stated that the current situation in Venezuela is unacceptable. In turn, the EU expects the early start of the political process in preparation for the presidential elections in the country.
Recall, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called on European countries to abandon the ultimatum with a call to hold new elections in the country within eight days. According to him, the EU makes a mistake regarding Venezuela.
As The Journalist reported, the National Assembly of Venezuela recognized Maduro as a usurper.
