World oil prices have fallen by 8%, according to Investing.com.
After midnight, the price of North Sea Brent crude reached USD 25.25 a barrel, which is 7.78% less. At that time, WTI crude oil price set at USD 21.55 a barrel, falling by 8.92%.
For the first time since 2003, the price of Brent fell below USD 26. Later, the futures price in May drop to USD 24.72, the price fell by more than 9%.
The energy sector predicted the price of fuel to drop to USD 20 a barrel by mid-April and will continue to fall.
