The state company Ukrenergo, the operator of the United Energy System of the country, has been transferred to the scope of management of the Ministry of Financeof Ukraine, the press service of the company said.
“The Commission on the transfer of the property complex of Ukrenergo signed an act of receiving/transferring the integral property complex of the company from the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. This means the actual completion of the process of Ukrenergo’s unbundling and ensuring the independence of the operator from the generation and/or supply of electric energy simultaneously,” it was reported.
It is noted that the transfer of Ukrenergo was initiated due to the need to distribute control over generating companies and the transportation of electricity.
As The Journalist reported, NAEC Energoatom will receive French made generators parts valued for UAH 80 mln.
