US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is considering a run for a Kansas Senate seat in 2020.
According to CNN, yesterday, January 20, Pompeo met with leading GOP consultant Ward Baker to discuss issue of nominating the state secretary to the senator seat.
It is noted although that Pompeo, "is focused on his job as secretary of state, but he is listening" to those urging him to run for the Senate.
