The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Dmytro Dubilet has announced a discussion of the further fate of the official print media outlets Voice of Ukraine and Uryadovyi Kurier.
“We submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada, which should cancel this strange archaism. As for now, for a law or regulation to take effect it must be printed in the newspapers Voice of Ukraine or Uryadovyi Kurier. We offer to publish laws and other acts on official websites, not on paper, as befits in the 21st century,” Dubilet said.
According to the minister, “manipulations with printing houses in order to delay the entry into force of laws have happened more than once in the history of Ukraine.”
“After the Rada adopts this law [on official publication – ed.], we will discuss with the public the further fate of these two print media,” Dubilet said.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky proposes to end state monopoly in alcohol industry.
