The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPO) stated it had received additional evidence of the military presence of the aggressor state in the Donetsk Oblast, according to the press service of the GPO.

The GPO carries out a pre-trial investigation into the facts of the use by representatives of the authorities and the command of the Armed Forces of Russia of “means of warfare prohibited by international law, other violations of the laws and customs of war stipulated by international treaties, conjugated with premeditated murders.”

It is noted that in the framework of the investigative actions was discovered a Dragunov sniper rifle with a Russian-made PSO-1 telescopic sight and a standard factory butt and forearm, supplied by the order of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

It is reported that a sniper rifle with a telescopic sight was found after the destruction of the sniper’s position of the Russian-led terrorist forces in early March 2018 near the settlement of Krasnohorivka, Mariyinsky Raion, Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, Ukrainian servicemen identified a 72mm small-sized MRO-A rocket flamethrower with a camouflage used in the Russian Armed Forces in the Vodyane settlement, Volnovakha Raion of the Donetsk Oblast.

“The locations of the discovery of these samples, as well as the facts of their use in the Donetsk Oblast, are the evidences of the military aggression of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the illegal armed formations under their control,” the General Prosecutor’s Office reports.

Further examinations are carried out, the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

As The Journalist reported, United States announced additional sanctions against Russia.
