EU will provide the last € 15 billion credit tranche to Greece in August. After that, Greece withdraws from the program of financial aid. This is reported by the «Korrespondent», citing the press service of the EU.

«Greece is leaving the financial assistance programme with a stronger economy building on the fiscal and structural reforms implemented. It is important to continue these reforms, which provide the basis for a sustainable growth path with higher employment and job creation, which in turn is Greece’s best guarantee for a prosperous future», – the message said.

Recall that the Macro-financial assistance program was provided to Greece in June 2017. This allowed Athens to avoid a default in early July, when the country was supposed to repay some of its debts.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, Greece and Macedonia sign agreement on name change.
