Groisman: Average wage in Ukraine may increase up to USD 540 in 2020

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman said that while maintaining the course of reforms, the average salary could increase to USD 540 in 2020, and to USD 620 in 2021.

“We believe that next year, while maintaining this rate, the average wage may reach USD 540,” the head of government said during the meeting.

To Groisman, the average salary may increase to USD 620 in 2021 (now it is USD 402).

“The average wage in the country to be raised to USD 540, and I believe that this can be achieved,” Groisman emphasized.

Head of the Cabinet of Ministers believes that the minimum wage may increase to UAH 5,500 in 2020

“I believe that the minimum wage should be about UAH 5,500 in the year. I understand that his is a debatable issue, but I consider it realistic,” Groisman convinced.
