Groysman predicts shortage of labor and growth of the Ukrainian economy

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has stated that current situation suggest that Ukraine will experience a shortage of labor in the med term perspective.

Groysman said this at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, UNN news agency reported.

«According to the official statistics, the unemployment rate is declining as for today. This means that we will have a shortage of manpower in the med term perspective,» – the PM said.

In addition, Groysman is confident that the national economy will continue to grow: in the H1 of 2018 growth exceeded by 3%.

«I am deeply convinced that the Ukraine’s economy will continue to grow. We are today a global player in the global market in many positions, this situation will only improve,» – the Head of Government noted.

According to Groysman, Ukraine has the largest economic potential in Europe, which can be realized through investment and modernization.

As The Journalist reported, Groysman government has postponed increase in gas prices for households until Oct 27.
