The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has stated that he could not prevent a rise in gas prices for the population, which is one of the conditions for the allocation of another International Monetary Fund loan to Ukraine.
PM Groysman said this at the government meeting on Wednesday, October 17.
«What, we took the obligation on gas? Do I want to raise the price? I’ve been fighting against rise in gas prices over a year now. But there are things that are beyond my capabilities,» – the Premier said.
As The Journalist reported, after the Government raises gas prices for population, heat tariffs will increase in a month.
