Health Ministry: Ukraine records lowest number of new COVID-19 cases over past week

According to the Ministry of Health, as of April 27, Ukraine has 9,009 confirmed COVID-19 cases, which is 392 cases more compared to the previous day. This is the lowest number since April 20.

On April 26, Ukraine has 8,617 confirmed cases, compared to 5,710 people a week earlier.

The dynamics of the disease during the week (for the last 4 weeks) was as follows: 839 people were infected in the period from March 30 to April 6; from April 6 to April 13 (+1,785 people); from April 13 to April 20 (+ 2,606 people); and from April 20 to April 27 (+ 3,299 people).

New coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Vinnytsia oblast – 10 cases, Volyn oblast – 14 cases, Dnipropetrivsk oblast – 18 cases, Donetsk oblast – 23 cases, Zhytomyr oblast – 3 cases, Zakarpattia oblast – 46 cases, Zaporizhzhia oblast – 22 cases, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 30 cases, Kirovohrad oblast – 14 case, Kyiv oblast – 28 cases, Lviv oblast – 10 cases, Mykolaiv oblast – 4 cases, Odesa oblast – 20 cases, Rivne oblast – 14 cases, Ternopil oblast – 5 cases, Kharkiv oblast – 49 cases, Kherson oblast – 1 case, Khmelnytska oblast – 2 cases, Cherkasy oblast – 10 cases, Chernihiv oblast – 3 cases, Chernivtsi oblast – 35 cases,. In Kyiv, 32 new cases were registered bringing the total to 1,220.

Luhansk and Sumy oblasts report no new cases over the day.

Health Ministry: COVID-19 infection cases were observed in all regions of Ukraine on April 23.
