Since June 8, meteorological conditions have been observed in Kyiv, contributing to the accumulation and preservation of harmful impurities in the surface air layer.
This was reported in the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations (SSES).
“Throughout June 12-13, according to the data of the observation posts named after Borys Sreznevsky level of pollution with nitrogen dioxide reached mainly 5-6 average daily maximum permissible concentrations in the areas: Sklyarenko street, Obolonsky Avenue, Bessarabska and Demeevska Squares”, the message said.
Such meteorological conditions, according to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, and the level of pollution will remain in Kyiv until June 18.
