Hrytsak filled resignation letter to newly elected President of Ukraine

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak has resigned. This is reported by the press service of the SBU.

“I fulfill my promise and publicly inform: today I submitting a resignation letter to the newly elected President of Ukraine. I also inform you that, in accordance with the procedure established by the Military Charters, the relevant dismissal reports were filled by all Deputy Heads of the Security Service of Ukraine and team members who side by side with me came to defend Ukraine during the most difficult days of the Russian armed aggression,” said Hrytsak.

Hritsak also noted that “as long as the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in accordance with the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine, do not decide who should lead the Security Service of Ukraine, the current composition of the SBU will continue to protect the security of the state and the Ukrainian people.”
