The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NAS) believes that passengers of Hyperloop vacuum trains, whose speed will be 1,080 km/h, will have to travel reclining.

This is stated in the scientific and technical study "Prospects of development fifth generation transport in Ukraine", conducted by order of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

According to a study of original Hyperloop project, proposed by American businessman Elon Mask, the maximum width of a passenger capsule reaches 1.35 m, and the maximum height is 1.10 m: it is impossible to stand in a capsule or move in there.

Also, the capsules does not provide for toilets and medical assistance during the journey, Ukrainian News writes.

NAS of Ukraine believe that it is possible to build 8 routes of vacuum trains around the country:
Kyiv – Lviv (travel time reaches 37 minutes); Kyiv – Odessa (35 minutes); Kyiv – Kharkiv (33 minutes); Kyiv – Dnipro (32 minutes); Kharkiv – Lviv (1 hour 4 minutes); Odessa – Lviv (47 minutes); Dnipro – Lviv (1 hour); Kyiv – Vinnitsa (19 minutes).
