Yanukovych sued the Prosecutor General of Ukraine

Ex-President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych has filed a lawsuit to the Pechersk district court of Kyiv against the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on the protection of honor, dignity, business reputation and refutation of inaccurate information.

According to the information on the Court’s website, the meeting on this case is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on September 13; it will be leading by the Judge Vita Bortnitskaya.

As reported by the UNN news agency, Yanukovych filed a lawsuit on June 23.

Recall, that according to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Yanukovych is suspected of committing crimes under Part 1, Article 111 (high treason); Part 5, Article 27; Part 3, Article 110 (aiding in intentional acts committed to change the boundaries of the territory and the state border of Ukraine); Part 5, Article 27, Part 3 Article 437 (aiding in holding an aggressive war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As The Journalist reported earlier, Yanukovych threatens the Court with criminal liability, if his rights to defense will be violated.
