The President of the European Council (EC), Donald Tusk, expressed his conviction that the best way of paying tribute to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred is to continue reforms and the development of democratic institutions in Ukraine.
Tusk said this during a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv, the press service of the head of the Ukrainian informs.
"I think the best form of respect you can give to the victims of the Revolution [dignity – ed.] is to do everything possible to continue reforms, continue your efforts to build better standards of democracy," the EC president said.
Tusk also praised Poroshenko’s efforts to carry out reforms.
