The mission of the International Monetary Fund positively assessed the monetary policy of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and has no complaints to the regulator.
This was announced by the NBU Governor Yakiv Smoliy, summing up the meeting with the head of the IMF mission in Ukraine, Ron van Rooden:
“Our teams worked hard during their stay in Kyiv. Head of the mission Ron van Rooden has stated that they have no questions to the NBU. They positively assessed our monetary policy,” wrote Smoliy.
According to him, the Ukrainian authorities agree on the importance of the IMF for Ukraine.
