Due to heavy rains, rescuers of Rivne oblast assist residents of the region in eliminating the consequences of bad weather. This is reported by the press service of the State Emergencies Service in Rivne oblast on its Facebook page.
“On the night of May 16, as a result of heavy rains, there was an increase in the water level in the Leva River in populated areas of the Rokitnovskiy District. The rise of groundwater in the Sarnenskiy, Dubrovitskiy, Zarechnenskiy, Bereznivskiy and Volodymyretskiy districts,” said in a statement.
In turn, households of citizens as a result of heavy rains are flooded.
Almost 50 rescuers, 7 units of special equipment and 10 motor-pumps were brought in to help the population in pumping rainwater.
Work on the elimination of the consequences of bad weather continues.
Previously, the “Journalist” reported that because of the weather in the Zhytomyr oblast, 35 settlements were left without electricity.
