In the USA, the question of sending up to 10 thousand military men to the Middle East is being discussed

The US Department of Defense will familiarize the White House with plans to send up to 10,000 troops to the Middle East to increase protection after the escalation of the conflict with Iran. This is reported by the AP.

At the moment, it is still not fully known whether the White House will approve sending all or only a part of the forces proposed by Pentagon. According to officials, the troops will be defensive forces. There will also be discussed an initiative to send additional Patriot missile systems to the Middle East, as well as to increase the number of ships in the Persian Gulf.
