The 18th Shanghai International motor show opened in China, which is held every two years. This year, the auto show is held under the motto “Creating a better future, UNIAN reports.
The first two days the exhibition will be opened only for Chinese and foreign journalists. On April 18-19 it will be opened for automotive industry experts, and on April 20-25, exhibition halls will be available to the general public. According to official information, the total exhibition area will exceed 360,000 square meters; stands with products of the Chinese and global automotive industry will be presented in 12 indoor pavilions. Nine of them are reserved for passenger cars, one pavilion for commercial vehicles, and last two for components and equipment.
According to forecasts, about 1 million people should attend the show, and about 10 thousand Chinese and foreign journalists will be covering it in the media.
