Invictus Games Foundation has increased the Ukrainian quota from 15 to 20 participants, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
Accepting applications from the candidates to the national team, representing Ukraine at Invictus Games-2020 in The Hague, will last until July 20 on the official website Invictus Games Ukraineinvictusgames.in.ua.
After registration the selection participants will be invited to sports testing in Lviv, Odesa or Kyiv of their choice.
“Sports testing is the first acquaintance of the participants with Invictus Games disciplines and the coaching staff of the national team. This is not a competition, but an opportunity for the participants to try themselves in several sports under the supervision of professional trainers and doctors and choose the best one. The participants of sports testing are admitted to the final selection stage – the Invictus Games National Trials which will be held on September 8 in Kyiv”, the message says.
On completion of the national competitions, within 6 weeks the selection committee is going to select the participants and announce the national team on October 17.
