New Israeli ambassador to Ukraine, Yoel Lyon, presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Kislitsa.
This is reported on MFA website of Ukraine.
On August 29th, a meeting of diplomats was held at the Foreign Ministry, during which Kislitsa congratulated Lyon on the beginning of the diplomatic mission in Ukraine.
«The parties discussed state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between countries, expressed their readiness to support an active political dialogue, and deepen practical cooperation in areas of mutual interest», report said.
Also, Lyon must still present his credentials to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
It should be noted that Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Ukraine Eliav Belotserkovskiy completed his diplomatic mission.
As The Journalist reported the ambassador stated that the peoples of Ukraine and Israel will work together for prosperity.
