The second round of negotiations on the plane crash of Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) may take place in Tehran from October 18 – 21. Iran sent the corresponding note to the Ukrainian side, Ukrinform reports citing Iranian Ambassador to Ukraine Manuchehr Moradi.
According to him, the Iranian side handed a note to the Ukrainian Embassy in Tehran with a proposal to hold a second round of negotiations from October 18 to 21.
“Expert meetings of the committees will take place in the first two days, and then the deputy foreign ministers of the two countries will discuss the results of the expert meetings. We are now awaiting a response from the Ukrainian side regarding the proposed period for the negotiations,” Moradi said.
Iran will prepare a final report on the causes of the plane crash before negotiations begin.
