Iryna Gerashchenko: Idea of holding scandalous video link became possible due to weakness of current presidential power

The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Iryna Gerashchenko, stated that the idea of the video link appeared due to the revanchists’ feelings relating to the weak power of the current president; she called on all political figures not indifferent to the fate of Ukraine, to stop attending NewsOne and 112 Ukraine TV channels. She announced this at Svoboda Slova TV Speech program on ICTV TV Channel.

“Under the previous President no TV link-up like “We need to talk” was possible a priori. And the fact that revenge is now raising its head is an evidence that you can do it because of the certain weakness of the current presidential team”, Gerashchenko said.
