The heavy-lift cargo vessel Ocean Freedom carrying patrol boats has already docked in the coastal harbor of Odesa port this morning. The editor-in-chief of the BlackSeaNews publication Andriy Klymenko confirmed this information.
Now preparations for operation after transportation and enlistment of patrol boats in the combat structure of the Ukrainian Navy will be made, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Zahorodniuk said.
Island-class patrol boats are high-speed vessel of the US Coast Guard, designed for patrolling, search and rescue operations in coastal waters.
