People’s Deputy of Ukraine, one of the leaders of the «Movement of New Forces» of Mikhail Saakashvili, Yurii Derevyanko, announced his intention to run for president of Ukraine. About this he reports on his Facebook page.
Derevyanko thanked everyone for supporting him over the last five years and said that he was ready to move to a new level, in connection with which he intends to run for presidency.
«With our struggle we opened a new window of opportunity. And so now it is almost the last chance to do all that we have been dreaming about for a long time and finally change this system. I do not want to lose another 5 years, I do not want to hope for someone again, I do not want to fight again against «the best of the worst». So I made a decision for myself. I am going to run for presidency," the statement said.
The politician noted that he intends to create a new system – a system of «neo-economics and a digital state».
«Four taxes, economic legalization, the constant influence of every citizen on important state decisions are what will enable contemporary Ukrainians to live in a prosperous state, which will be the number one in Europe», Derevyanko said.
Earlier «Journalist» reported that Saakashvili had announced his return to Georgia.
