Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has introduced new prosecutor of Volyn Oblast, Viktor Shvydkoy. This was reported by the spokesman of Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan on Facebook.
According to Lutsenko, the priorities of the prosecutor’s office of the Volyn Oblast should be to counter smuggling and stop illegal schemes at the customs.
In addition, the new Head of the Prosecutor’s office is tasked to do everything possible to keep the situations related to extraction of amber and the cessation of illegal logging under control in the Oblast.
Note that earlier Shvydkoy was the first deputy of the Volyn Oblast Prosecutor’s Office.
