This was stated by Acting Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov during a briefing, Ukrinform reports.
“It does not depend on me. This question depends on the Verkhovna Rada, if the Parliament approves my candidacy for the head of the SBU, it will be so,” said Bakanov.
The Acting Head of the SBU said that the president had agreed ‘reloading’ of the SBU, and added that three deputies are not included to the personnel list.
As The Journalist reported, President Zelensky dismissed SBU’s deputy chairman Kononenko.
