In the West of Ukraine because of heavy rains, the water level in the rivers is expected to rise, according to Ukrgidromettsentr.
On July 16-17th, due to heavy rains on the rivers of the Syan, Dniester (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts) basins, water level rises are expected to be 0.2-1.0 m above the current levels.
It is also noted that due to heavy rains on July 16-18th on the rivers of the Western Bug River basin (Lviv, Volyn oblasts) and in the upper reaches of the Stry river basin (Pripyat tributary), water levels are expected to rise 0.2-0.8 m above the current levels, without negative consequences.
As «Journalist» reported heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in Kyiv.
