Ministry of Defense reports the decrease in intensity of hostilities in Donbas over the past day. The militants violated the ceasefire regime three times on March 22, according to the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.
The enemy resorted to 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
“Shellings were recorded in the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group near Vodiane the enemy attacked from 82mm mortars (5 mortar shells); near Pavlopil from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; in the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group near Berezove from an easel anti-tank grenade launcher and heavy machine guns,” the statement reads.
No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
